The nation’s foremost purveyor of that gentle, folksy style of story-telling called Down East Humor, Maine’s unofficial humorist laureate is both a wickedly entertaining performer and a wicked funny man. Born and raised in Maine and educated in Maine schools, Tim's books, albums, and videos (including four albums and a video for the Bert and I company) have sold well over a million copies. Over the years, Tim has performed thousands of shows in venues all over the country. Novelist Stephen King has likened Sample's work to that of Mark Twain, and Charles Kuralt called him "Maine's humorist laureate." |
